Kootenai National Forest, Libby Ranger District 4614D Road Stabilization, project consists of providing all labor, material, equipment, supervision and management for stabilizing the 4614D road in the top of the Bobtail Creek Watershed; Remove culverts and stabilize stream crossings; Install grade control and stream stabilization structures at stream channel crossings; Outslope portions of the 4614D road; Decompact portions of the 4614D road; Install water bars on the 4614D road. The project is located on the 4614D road in Upper Bobtail Creek. The road is administrativly classified as a “level 2 road” that is restricted and legally gated for administrative use only. The project site is located in the Libby District of the Kootenai National Forest, approximately 21 road miles northwest of Libby, MT, Township 32 North, Range 32 West, Sections 12,13,18. Estimated price between $25,000 - $100,000. Contract time June 2021 – October 15 2021 or 2022. Stream Restrictions apply prior to July 15 and after August 31.
