Specifications include, but are not limited to: This project is for a new facility. A city-owned parcel immediately east of the existing Chandler Police Property and Evidence Facility located at 576 West Pecos Road is currently reserved for this new facility. The new facility includes a new building for offices, laboratories, and other types of spaces, exterior parking, site improvements, storage, security, shade structures, and other associated improvements. he services for this project include a pre-design study to determine facility needs and requirements including potential public outreach services. The services for this project may also include design of the new facility and potentially also construction management services. The study will evaluate current and future needs, spacing requirements, develop program concept, provide the feasibility for the project location, preliminary cost estimate, and pre-design services. The study may also include outreach to other agencies to evaluate potential interagency opportunities and partnerships with the City of Chandler, evaluate staffing requirements, assess program space to include other City of Chandler departments, provide lab equipment recommendations and requirements, and other associated services. If included, design services would include architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and civil engineering, and associated services for full design, specifications, estimates, and permitting. If included, construction management services would include pre-construction assistance, construction management, construction inspection, specialty inspections, and materials testing.
