Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Inspection of indoor and outdoor facilities for the presence and condition of Aboveground Storage Tanks. • Inspection of facilities for the presence and condition of Underground Storage Tanks. • Investigation of and assistance with groundwater contamination, remediation issues, permits, and brownfields. • Preparation and periodic reviews of campus Integrated Contingency Plans and Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure Plans. • Assistance with petroleum spill clean-up (spill oversight), remediation and reimbursement projects. • Conducting third party audits of campus hazardous waste management program to assure compliance with regulations. • Preparation of Title V air permits and audit stationary sources for toxic air pollutant compliance. • Conducting third party audits of campus Storm Water Management programs. • Conducting third party audits of campus Refrigerant Management Program. • Conduct environmental site assessments for property being considered for purchase • Assistance with the Toxic Substances Control Act; as it applies to research laboratories handling newly synthesized or imported chemical substances for which limited environmental, health, or safety data exist; including asbestos, PCBs and the human health and environmental effects of chemical substances. • Conduct third party audit of radiation, x-ray and laser protection programs • Assist with hazardous building materials remediation, assessment and design. • Assist with EPCRA Tier II reporting.
