Specifications include, but are not limited to: roadway reconstruction and widening to meet current safety standards and current McKenzie County / Watford City Design Standards, Asphalt or Concrete surfacing, Curb and Gutter, aggregate base, cement stabilized subgrade, Watford City Utilities (if necessary), mainline and approach culverts, and grading. Design activities include environmental, if necessary, Geotech pavement section design, survey; design; permitting; preparation of final construction plans and specifications for bidding, cost estimates; ROW platting; possible coordination with the United States Army Corps of Engineers, and other state and federal agencies, if needed; coordination with utility companies to establish utility conflicts, coordinate a utility relocation plan, and prepare conflict sheets; and Engineer of Record activities for bidding and construction including, but not limited to, consultation and questions, pre-job meetings, plan revisions and change orders, shop drawing review, preparation of bid package and bid tab, and consultation when needed during the construction phase.
