All correspondence must be made through the Vendor Portal. Specifications include, but are not limited to: The non-INDOT owned State properties are in need of an inventory and inspections of existing small culverts, inlets, and manholes within their transportation facilities, i.e. roadways and parking lots. The selected firm shall acquire a full inventory review, field inspection, comprehensive assessment and documentation of all small culverts (less than 48 inches in diameter) and connecting drainage structures (median inlets, slotted drains, catch basins, etc.) within the properties included with this request for proposal. Work shall not include underdrains. This information will be used by INDOT to update existing inventory and plan for future small culvert project needs within the state properties. See attachments for inspection property locations, inventory collection manual, and asset collection instructions. Work shall include a thorough field inspection of each structure. The inspectors will need to be trained by INDOT on how to rate conditions, identify deficiencies and rank them according to severity. Any deficiency determined to be an emergency shall be brought to the attention of the INDOT State Facility Program Manager immediately. Some of the structures within the State Facilities in the Seymour District have been inspected and inventoried, so the consultant shall verify these and make sure the inspection information is still accurate. Work shall be coordinated with each facility at least 48 hours in advance. The Project Manager for this contract must be employed by the Lead Consultant and hold a Professional Engineer license in the State of Indiana. Consultants shall include a cost proposal for all work included in the request, which will count towards the page limit in the LOI and will be considered in the selection evaluation process.
