Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Henderson, Nevada, is soliciting responses from qualified construction managers/general contractors for the performance of Construction Manager at Risk services for construction of new Fire Station 92 at the intersection of Larson Lane and Via Centro (future street) in Henderson, Nevada. Pre-construction Services shall include constructability reviews, construction cost estimates, advice, project analysis and feedback regarding materials, methods, systems, schedule, labor and other conditions affecting construction and subcontractor selection for development and construction of the Project. The fire station design will utilize the City’s “prototype fire station,” with some additions as indicated in the following: The building will consist of approximately 14,250 square feet of space including four apparatus bays (Increase of one), exercise room, kitchen, dining room, outdoor patio, offices, private lobby with unisex restroom, training room, captain's quarters, rescue dorms, staff dorms, gender neutral restrooms, workroom, storage rooms, washroom, clean room, turn-out room, and other support functions to be determined. Additional amenities may include on-site fuel storage and dispensing. Alternate A will include a Battalion Chief garage suitable for housing a large SUV or truck. Alternate B will include a new Emergency Operations Center (EOC) / training room (approximately 3,000 SF), completed under separate permit, including operable partitions, kitchenette, multiple flex workstations and large video screens.
