Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide, maintain, and remove tire wash area for trucks and equipment as need for your own work.; Provide dewatering and mucking necessary to complete all items of work.; This contractor shall include rock, boulder and buried debris removal provided the encountered rock and boulders can be removed with the use of a CAT 325 excavator (or similar).; Review plumbing drawings for sanitary and storm piping connecting to your work.; Provide concrete washout station for your own work; All finish grades are to be properly blended to allow smooth transitions.; Protect and/or avoid all existing underground utilities.; Provide all safety measures and controls, traffic controls, etc. to comply with all OSHA and WT safety regulations to complete this work. Bidder must follow Whiting-Turner’s safety manual and utility avoidance policy as detailed in section 013520; Field superintendent is required on-site at all times contractor’s forces or subcontractor’s forces are working.; Any stockpile backfill shall be covered.; Provide continuous site cleaning of project site and adjacent streets resulting from this work. Provide street cleaning on surrounding streets as required.; Advanced notice to Whiting-Turner, City of Wilmington and in the case of Spruce Street, DelDot is required for any road closures. Closures will need to be coordinated. All Whiting-Turner and local authorities’ requirements must be followed. The cost associated with road closures is by this contractor. All flagger, signage, barricades required for closures are to be provided by this contractor.; Provide all temporary power required to complete your work.; This contractor shall verify existing conditions and existing grades. Provide to construction manager a cut/fill drawing including survey points that verify the existing grades versus the existing conditions plan.; Provide all permits and fees required. City of Wilmington building permit provided by WhitingTurner. Provide City of Wilmington utility permits as required.; Prior to bidding thoroughly review the Geotechnical data and underground utility survey, incorporate findings in bid pricing.; All demolished material under this contract to be placed in dumpsters provided by this contractor, hauled off-site and properly disposed of in a legal manner. No dumpster deliveries are to be made during pick up and drop off times of the existing Bancroft School.; Assume that no trucking can take place between 8:30am – 9:30am and 2:30pm - 4pm. All dumpster and disposal cost for demolition under this scope is to be paid by the demolition contractor.; All items intended to be scrapped or salvaged should be secured at the end of each shift by this contractor, the prevention of loss or theft from the site or dumpsters is not the responsible of the CM or the owner.; New Electrical and Gas utilities are by others.; See previously bid 31A Early Sitework’s scope of work for items completed by others.; Fire and domestic water piping to building is not part of this contract.; New Bancroft construction site (between 6th and 7th and between Lombard and Spruce): Provide site demolition.(Building demolition is by others); Provide new Manholes; clean outs, Catch Basin, Site Yard Drain 12x12, PVCP Storm Sewer Pipe, DIP Storm Sewer Pipe, RDP Storm Sewer Pipe, PVCP Lateral, Parking lot trench drain, Curbs, Asphalt paving, concrete curbs, sod, bollards and bike racks
