Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Bentonville, Arkansas is soliciting formal, sealed bids for a properly licensed, experienced and qualified contractor to perform installation of public streetlights, for the Bentonville Electric Utility Department (BEUD). All work shall be performed within the city limits of Bentonville, Arkansas. BEUD shall provide all new material components to be installed (such as bulbs, poles, fixtures etc.). The Awarded Contractor shall be responsible for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to perform work (such as PPE, tools, wires, transportation etc.). The awarded Contractor shall be responsible for providing a trailer of sufficient length to transport 30 foot poles, a boom lift capable of lifting a minimum of 500 pounds, and a bucket truck capable of reaching 35 feet to work on taller lights, to perform the work on an as needed basis, per request/work order issued by BEUD. All work shall be performed on an as needed basis, upon receipt of an approved work order, or other notice to complete work, from BEUD. All work shall be completed, as approved by a BEUD Service Department staff member. BEUD shall provide work orders to the awarded Contractor a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours prior to the needed service date.
