Specifications include, but are not limited to: 7. Furnish and install all gymnasium equipment, including but not limited to: wall pads and gym column wraps with wall pads, retractable and fixed basketball backboards, volleyball inserts and volleyball equipment as shown on the contract documents. 8. Provide all samples, certificates, warranties, shop drawings, etc. as specified. 9. Provide and install all miscellaneous structures/supports or uni-strut as required for support of this work. All miscellaneous steel or steel beams on the Contract Documents are by others. 10. This contractor is responsible for all necessary equipment and layout for this work. 11. This contractor shall forward submittals for the volleyball inserts immediately upon award of the contract. Order the inserts upon submittal approval and deliver to the project. Assume an expedited delivery of the volleyball inserts. 12. This contractor shall engage factory representatives when required to oversee the installation of equipment provided in this bid package. Arrange for the factory representatives to inspect the installation when complete. 13. This contractor shall coordinate all electrical requirements for motors, controls, etc. with the Electrical Contractor. Internal wiring within the equipment is required by this trade. Electrical connection to the building power is by others. Furnish operating switches for all equipment to the Electrical Contractor. 14. Furnish and install all associated brackets, anchors, hardware, and accessories. Furnish and install all transition pieces integral to this work (i.e. thresholds, trim, etc.). 15. This contractor is required to provide all layout and drilling of any holes required in the structural steel for the installation of the work required in this package. 16. Provide all submittals, shop drawings and samples as required by the Contract Documents. 17. This contractor shall coordinate with all finish trades associated with this work, prior to beginning work. 18. This contractor is responsible to train the owner’s maintenance personnel to adjust, operate, and maintain the gymnasium equipment. 19. Provide Auditorium roll-up divider curtain and Gym divider curtain 20. Provide electronic score board and associated low voltage wiring. Line voltage and concealed raceway by others 21. Include gym wall pad credit for Alternate #1 (Bleachers), on bleacher walls only
