Specifications include, but are not limited to: provide all services necessary to deliver secured shredding services to the State as set forth in this RFP and subsequent attachments. IDOA, on behalf of All State Agencies, is establishing a Quantity Purchase Agreement (QPA) for these services. Respondents must be able to provide services in the following service categories: Purge Service (per bin) - Vendors must provide information on any purging services offered such as frequency, lead time for scheduling, method of destruction, etc. Mobile Shredding/On-Site - Shredding on-site with mobile on-site shredding systems. The vendor picks up the bin (s) from a central point at the Using Agency facility and shreds contents on-site in mobile units. The bin (s) will then be retuned to agency. Facility-Based/Off-Site Shredding - The vendor picks up the bin (s) from a central point at the Using Agency facility and securely transports bin (s) to a bulk shredding facility. A replacement bin (s) will be left at the Using Agency facility. Bankers Boxes – The State will request for the vendor to pick up bankers boxes for facility-based shredding from time to time on an as needed basis for a fixed destruction fee per box or pick up fee. Media – Vendor shall provide shredding services, and a separate bin, for microfilm, microfiche, diskettes, computer hard drives and other media at a fixed cost. All media must be destroyed in accordance with the guidelines provided by The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Bins – The Vendor shall provide bins to Using Agencies for deposit of confidential documents. All bins provided shall include a locking mechanism to ensure documents remain secure. The Respondent will retain ownership of bins.
