Specifications include, but are not limited to: Maine Revenue Services #10 Custom Check Window Envelopes (E-106) Quantity: 64 cartons (160,000 envelopes) Envelope Size: 4-1/8" x 9-1/2" Window Size: 1-1/8" x 4-1/2" Custom Window Position: 1-3/4" from left side and 13-16" from bottom. Description: To be printed two sides (3-line corner card on front and Maine FastFile logo on back), black ink on 24 lb. white wove recycled stock. Envelope must have diagonal seams and must be constructed as shown in the attached PDF file. Envelope to have black wood grain inside tint, clear poly window and gummed flap. Agency will require a sample of inside tint for approval. Sample supplied is actual envelope (see scanned PDF copy attached for reference). Actual envelope will be mailed to successful vendor upon award. Vendor to contact agency for copy. These envelopes will be used on a continuous mailing system. Window material must be well bonded, but not over-glued. Back flaps MUST have good gluing agent, but not excessive causing several envelopes to stick together. Test Samples and Proof Required: Vendor is to send PDF proof of envelope to Agency for approval – proof is to show inside security tint for agency approval. Vendor is also required to send an adequate supply of test samples prior to production so the State Postal Center can test run envelopes through their machines. Sample envelopes are to be included in the price. Note: Overrun to not exceed 3% Packaging: Envelope are to be packaged 500 per box, 2500 per case, for a total of 160,000 envelopes (64 cases). Boxes should be strong so as not to crush when stacked on pallets.
