Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall provide all required material, equipment, transportation and services necessary for the complete installation, operation and maintenance of approximately 9,000 streetlights located within the APS service area of the City. Maintenance of luminaries installed on City traffic signal poles is not included in this Contract. This Contract includes, but is not limited to, providing the following services: 3.1 Provide a full range of streetlight routine, non-routine and “on-call” maintenance services for all new and existing streetlights in the APS service area. Provide routine and non-routine services for the City’s illuminated street name signs mounted with the traffic signals.; 3.2 Provide a local telephone call center for the purpose of receiving emergency and non-emergency citizen reported outages and damage reports and relaying of all outage and damage reports to the Streets/Traffic Superintendent or designated alternate staff member for approval and authorization prior to performing any streetlight work. The call center shall operate during normal business hours (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM) Monday thru Friday.; 3.3 Provide City Traffic Operations staff with a mechanism to electronically transmit routine and non-routine streetlight maintenance requests, run queries to monitor work order progress, and provide job status reports when requested.; 3.4 Provide City Traffic Operations and Risk Management staff with police accident report numbers or the accurate date of accident and the accurate address or a clear and concise location for all streetlight knockdowns repaired by the Contractor. Only detailed invoices will be accepted.; 3.5 Proper disposal of all damaged material.; 3.6 Provide support services for alternative or upgraded streetlight programs initiated by the City.; 3.7 All materials installed must be listed in the APS company materials and approved manufacturers for street lights which can be found on the APS website as well as the City Engineering Standards and details found on the City’s website.; 3.8 Provide the name and phone number of one Contractor supervisor and one designated alternate who may be contacted 24 hours per day, seven days per week to respond to streetlight issues. Contact must respond to emergency services within 15 minutes of receiving the call and respond to the job-site within one (1) hour of response to emergency services.
