Specifications include, but are not limited to: replacement of rooftop AC units, related demolition and ductwork to the building.; FM intends to repurpose this building as an office and warehouse space. Because the existing evaporative cooling systems in the original housing areas are no longer adequate and require replacement with air conditioning units. The existing air conditioning units in Admin/Office area will remain.; Electrical: Electrical upgrades are required to accommodate the additional electrical load for the new air conditioning equipment. This will include modification of the existing electrical components and installation of new equipment per provided drawings. Electrical Contractor will provide power to each AC unit with an electrical disconnect within 36-inches of the point of connection for each AC unit. Power connection to each unit from disconnect to equipment will be the responsibility of the HVAC Contractor. Electrical Contractor will provide a two-year warranty against defects for workmanship and installation.; HVAC: HVAC Contractor will be responsible for demo and removal of all existing HVAC equipment, install new ductwork per provided drawings and install new AC units. HVAC Contractor will provide all required equipment, including new AC units per specifications and details included in this solicitation. Acceptable brands of AC units are as follows: Rheem/Ruud, Carrier, York, Daikin. HVAC Contractor will provide full factory warranty for all AC units. HVAC Contractor will provide a two-year warranty against defects for workmanship and installation.
