Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Jonesboro (City) is seeking proposals from firms interested in providing Financial Advisory Services. 1. Advise and assist the City in developing and executing financing plans. 2. Advise the City in issuing debt in the form of Revenue or General Obligation bonds, Certificates of Participation, private placements and other related financial services. 3. Provide the City financing options by conducting studies and analyses determining the appropriate and cost-effective financing methods, terms, security, and repayment structures. 4. Assist in selecting the members of the financing team (such as bond counsel and the underwriter), negotiating contracts with firms making up the financing team and defining the tasks, schedule, and deliverables by members of the financing team 5. Coordinate and participate in all aspects of the bond issuance process, from creating and maintaining schedules, conducting independent analysis of financing alternatives, reviewing bond documents, reviewing all aspects of negotiated pricing, monitoring performance of underwriting teams, post issuance analysis, and all related tasks.
