Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1) Review funding opportunities for CAW from the federal government 2) Development and implement effective strategy to obtain funding directly from the federal government, and not including SRF funds already easily available to CAW through the Arkansas Natural Resources Commission, for CAW projects. 3) Determine ways to leverage funding CAW will be receiving. 4) Determine which funding opportunities the CAW qualifies for and how to apply for each opportunity. 5) Work with CAW to prioritize funding opportunities identified 6) Apply for prioritized funding opportunities by preparing proposals for the CAW’s review. 7) Determine appropriate agencies and people for CAW to meet with in Washington DC or other location to maximize CAW’s opportunities to receive federal funding. 8) Set up meetings and facilitate CAW’s introduction to appropriate agencies and people to maximize CAW’s opportunities to receive federal funding. 9) Participate in regular meetings with CAW’s CEO to update him on progress to obtaining federal funding.
