Specifications include, but are not limited to: Conduct and implement a comprehensive compensation and pay classification study for the District. The purpose of the compensation study is to assist the District in reviewing and analyzing the current staff compensation structure, obtain recommendations for improvements to the existing structure or recommendations on a new structure, obtain recommendations to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness, and review and create job descriptions. 1. Meet with District Superintendent and Leadership Team to assure an understanding of the Districts objectives in the project including timeframes for completion of project. 2. Review related background documents including current job descriptions and current pay classification plan. 3. Submit an Action Plan to the District, satisfactory to both parties, for accomplishing tasks associated with the compensation and classification study for the District. This plan should delineate the tasks necessary to complete the project along with a reasonable timetable for completion. 4. Meet with school employees or a designated “work-study” group to describe scope of work and methodology. 5. Perform job analysis/evaluation for each full-time permanent job in the District (with the exception of those positions located on the Teacher Salary Table, and non-FTE related positions), utilizing, but not limited to, questionnaires, interviews, and on-site observation.
