Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Governor’s Office of Economic Development (GOED) seeks proposals from qualified vendors to redesign, develop, launch, and maintain the agency’s website content management system (CMS): www.goed.nv.gov. The website will provide information to the citizens of Nevada and any other person wishing to learn more or be a part of economic development in the state. • Design a website that has a modern look and feel and incorporates GOED’s style guide that also includes better visual effects including video and graphs. • Develop and implement a Content Management System (CMS) that provides all functions required to keep the website content updated by designated GOED staff • GOED’s homepage should be eye catching, informational, easy to navigate and structured in a way that makes the user able to navigate freely and easily. • Develop and implement a method of analyzing website traffic both within the site and to external links that allows the agency to understand and assess the site’s effectiveness in achieving desired outcomes and improves SEO • ADA Compliant across the entire website/documents. Design a website that conforms to ADA standards. Please see link for State of Nevada ADA Standards http://ada.nv.gov/Resources/Course-Resources/. • Implement Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager (tracking software to gather initial data) The prospective vendor should be well versed in the undertaking of a major website redesign and be prepared to offer suggestions on how to improve the navigation and user capabilities of the site that places GOED in the forefront of website technology. Once the website is complete, we would like the awarded vendor to great digital marketing graphics that will assist in the announcement of the new GOED brand and website across GOED’s three main social media platforms: Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
