Specifications include, but are not limited to: design, construction, construction engineering andmanagement of the Project. The design work will include but is not limited to surveys, geotechnicalwork, hydraulic analysis, scour analysis and structural design. The designs shall meet allappropriate DOH design guidelines as set forth in the DOH Design Directives (Latest Edition)(DD), DOH Traffic Engineering Directives (TED), DOH Bridge Design Manual (BDM), DOHDrainage Manual, (Latest Edition and amendments at time of advertisement), WV Department ofEnvironmental Protection Erosion and Sediment Control Best Management Practice Manual,DOH Temporary Traffic Control Manual, DOH Standard Detail Book(s) Vol. 1-3 (revisedstandard details may be found at:https://transportation.wv.gov/highways/engineering/Pages/Details.aspx) , and supplemented withappropriate AASHTO guidelines and policies including but not limited to AASHTO Policy onDesign Standards Interstate System (Latest Edition), AASHTO Policy on Geometric Design ofHighways and Streets (Latest Edition), AASHTO Roadside Design Guide (Latest Edition),AASHTO Guidelines for Geometric Design of Very Low-Volume Local Roads (ADT≥400),AASHTO Load Resistant Factor Design Specifications (LRFD) (current edition with currentinterim specifications), Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (Latest Edition), DOH DesignGuide for Signing manual and DOH Project Criteria attached hereto as Exhibit A2.
