Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor shall provide a one-for-one (full for empty) exchange at designated fire stations on an as-needed basis. Sufficient storage areas for these cylinders will be provided at the designated fire stations. Contractor shall visit the designated stations within 72 hours of a request for oxygen replacement unless otherwise arranged with EMS Supply Captain. Contractor shall leave a full cylinder for each empty cylinder. A delivery ticket that indicates the number of cylinders picked up and dropped off shall be left at the station the day of the exchange. City will be responsible for the cost of repairs to cylinders that are damaged by the City. City will be responsible for the cost of lost cylinders, if such loss occurs when in its possession. Contractor shall deliver tanks within 72 hours of a request unless otherwise arranged with EMS Supply Captain. Contractor shall provide same day service if emergent need is identified by crews and verified by Omaha Fire EMS Supply Captain. Contractor shall ensure any cylinder placed in service, whether or not it is currently on a vehicle, must be within test requirements as evidenced by a valid hydrostatic test date imprinted on the cylinder.
