Specifications include, but are not limited to: Through this Request for Proposal (RFP), the Office of Purchasing & Contracting (hereinafter the “State”) seeks to establish a contract with a qualified Architectural and/or Engineering firm to provide architectural and engineering design services to study the renovation and addition, or complete replacement of the existing Superior Court and Offices at 255 North Main Street in Barre. The State invites interested firms to bid on providing architectural/engineering design services described in Section 2 of this RFP. The Judiciary Criminal, Family and Probate Divisions, Department of Corrections division of Probation and Parole, State’s Attorney, and BGS currently occupy the State-owned building. Originally built in 1982, the State had the building designed for court uses as well as for open offices with operable windows for natural cooling, and with no central air-conditioning.
