This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quotations incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-84 dated Nov 1, 2015. All responsible sources may submit proposals that will be considered by the agency. The contract will be awarded on a firm-fixed-price basis using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.5. Past performance will be considered in the selection of the awarded vendor.
MARIA BRAY Heat Pump #5
IAW Configuration Vendor shall;
• Supply all straight cooling parts to build in place new SCSC5.
• Supply the necessary labor and materials to install the new components
• Have new supply and return duct connections made and installed,
• Supply a new sea water manifold$ 4,675.00
• Supply and install new sea water switch, sea water hoses and relief hoses
• Modify sea water and drain lines as necessary
• Hire a marine chemist to certify the work space
USCG will;
• Carry on or remove all components in and out of the work space, wiring, and painting.
• Remove the old unit down to the steel plate. Existing unit plate stays but is grinded down of all high spots and painted prior to Vendor's arrival. Plate must be flat from all frames and supports.
