Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide community-based mobile crisis services. All of the community mobile response services must be delivered in accordance with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) federal policy guidance,1 including but not limited to: • Community mobile crisis response must be available 24/7/365. • Services must be available to individuals of all ages experiencing a mental health and/or substance use crisis. • Services must be delivered outside of a hospital or facility setting (services delivered in a community mental health center are permitted). • Teams must be inter-disciplinary inclusive of at least one qualified mental health professional and should also include other professionals or paraprofessional and peers with expertise in behavioral health or mental health crisis intervention. • Follow-up services must be provided by mobile crisis teams on a time-limited basis.
