Specifications include, but are not limited to: purchase a modern and state-of-the-art wide area voice/datanetwork for use throughout the Hancock County utilizing DMR Simulcast Technology. We arelooking for 6 site, 6 simulcast channels per site, along with a new antenna system with 7/8 inhardline at each tower.The integrated network should be a highly reliable, fault tolerant system which meetscurrent needs and provide a growth path for future expansion. The system is expected toserve the current communication needs of the Hancock County 911, and it must havethe flexibility of adapting to changing system requirements and new technology withoutthe need to replace major equipment elements. Hancock County 911 intends toimplement future data applications and add additional users beyond the initial identifiedrequirements, and requires that this network allow for future growth of the network. Thenetwork must also allow for the addition of RF sites and expanded capabilities toincrease coverage and functions should the need arise.Vendors are encouraged to propose a network design that will best meet therequirements of the Hancock County 911 first responders. The DMR SimulcastTechnology must be upgradeable to P25.
