Specifications include, but are not limited to: All materials and labor for the fabrication of durable, plastic tray tables meeting 49 CFR Part 238 Smoke & Flame requirements for passenger coaches. To be in a light sandstone color (Kydex Monterey #62033 or similar) and manufactured to the dimensions described in the attachments. Tray tables shall have an internal metal frame as shown in the attached drawings which fit securely inside the two part plastic tray and allow attachment to the existing seatback tray table arms. Tray table halves are to be permanently bonded together around the internal frame. The installation of a low density foam core inside the tray assembly to provide additional rigidity to the assembly may be bid on as an additional alternative item. The foam selected must meet or exceed the flammability requirements of 49 CFR Part 238. Trays will be required for six (6) separate coaches, seventy (70) units for each coach plus thirty (30) spares for a total of 450 tray table assemblies.
