Specifications include, but are not limited to: The work for the Packaged Water Treatment Plant Equipment Preselection consists of designing, furnishing, and providing related manufacturer’s labor, materials, and services for a prepackaged water treatment plant equipment, as specified, for installation in the Project entitled Water Treatment Plant Improvements in Wrangell, Alaska. The treatment system specified will be used to meet a 2.26 mgd design water treatment capacity.; A. This Bidder selected under this procurement shall have the responsibility for providing the packaged water treatment plant equipment, including all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals as shown, specified, and required to furnish rapid mix, flocculation, dissolved air flotation, and dual media filtration system as described throughout this solicitation.; B. The packaged equipment selected shall support Wrangell’s new water treatment system which shall be designed to meet a 2.26 MGD design treatment capacity (treated water), using a three-vessel Flocculation and DAF treatment system and a two-vessel multi-media filtration system. Each Flocculation and DAF vessel shall be sized to handle 50% of the total design flow and each multi-media filtration vessel shall contain three dual media filters sized to handle 100% of the total design flow. Details of the required equipment are outlined further in Section 46-21-10 herein.
