Specifications include, but are not limited to: : Through this Request for Proposal (RFP) the Vermont Department of Forests, Parks, and Recreation (FPR) is seeking proposals from qualified organizations (Contractor) to support the Department in creating a Forest Future Strategic Roadmap to identify actionable strategies to strengthen, modernize, promote, and protect Vermont’s forest products sector and the broader forest economy for the many values and benefits it provides. The initiative was authorized by the Vermont Legislature and signed into law by Governor Scott in Act 183 of 2022. By January 1, 2024, FPR must deliver a comprehensive action plan to the General Assembly based on an inclusive public stakeholder process, coordinated with the selected contractor and an FPR-appointed Advisory Panel, that invites participation by interested parties representing all users of Vermont's forests.
