Specifications include, but are not limited to: 4.1.1.Contractor will provide transportation services using passenger vehicles, vans and/or shuttle to carry qualified individuals primarily to and from various locations in the greater Tucson Metropolitan area, although transportation to other destination in Southern Arizona may be required. 4.1.2.Contractor/their vehicles used in the transport service must be in good and safe operating condition and meet Federal and/or State Department of Transportation (DOT) vehicle safety regulation, including inspection certificates, as applicable. 4.1.3.Contractor must be able to provide drivers and vehicles to the various pick-up locations within one (1) hour of notification by County and/or its partners, seven (7) days a week, 24 hours per day and to the greatest extend possible, Contractor will provide bilingual (English and Spanish) personnel to perform services pursuant to this contract. 4.1.4.Contractor and their personnel must have sufficient knowledge of the road infrastructure in the greater Tucson Metropolitan area. 4.1.5.Contractor must provide a single point of contact, have in place a system to respond to transportation requests from County and/or its partners and must respond to each request within one (1) hour of notification. Notification may be by call, email or text message.
