Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Provide a valid and legally defensible written pre-employment knowledge and fundamental skills testing instrument for deputy candidates to measure candidate’s ability to succeed in training and on the job. Instrument may be available to candidates in print, online at County or remote access, or a combination. Reminder, we are not seeking medical, physical and/or agility testing services. 2. Provide a valid and legally defensible written knowledge and fundamental skills testing instrument for candidates in the promotional process (Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain, Detective) accessed in print, online at County or remote online, or a combination. 3. Maintain security of test materials and candidate information, 4. Scoring of provided tests or allow scoring by County Human Resources. Scores must be available within one week of testing. 5. Training of any county proctors or scorers. 6. Assist with responding to examination score appeals.
