Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor will have staff hired, trained, and ready to participate in a training in Pierre, SD, within thirty (30) days after execution of the contract. This should be a minimum of 3 Full Time Equivalent (FTE) workers. This can be either 3 full time persons or spread out among several persons. COVID-19 site visits should be scheduled for each reviewer the following week for a provider in South Dakota. Each reviewer must be signed off by a designated employee of the South Dakota Immunization Program before conducting a site visit independently. The staff will need to complete the following trainings. a) Complete the CDC You Call the Shots online trainings: Vaccine Storage and Handling and Vaccines for Children Program; b) Complete the Pfizer, Moderna and Jansseen vaccine training; c) Complete the South Dakota Immunization Program’s COVID vaccine training; d) Review the CDC Vaccine Storage and Handling Toolkit; e) Review the South Dakota VFC Provider Handbook ; The Contractor will ensure staff have access to the following databases to be able to complete their site visits; send request to the South Dakota Immunization Program for each staff conducting site visits. a) SDIIS – state immunization information system (SD System); b) SAMS – Secure Access Management Services (CDC System); c) CDC REDCap – located inside SAMS; d) CDC PEAR – located insides SAMS; The Contractor will conduct thirty (30) COVID-19 site visits by December 31, 2022. If required by the CDC, these visits will continue in subsequent. After these visits are completed, ensure that the rest of the onboarded COVID-19 providers receive a site visit within twelve (12) months of enrollment. The Contractor must enter the site visit into the CDC REDCap database within 24-hours of visit and all followup activities will be completed by the CDC and Contractor designated due date. The Contractor will use the CDC COVID-19 Vaccination Program Provider Site Visit Reviewer Guide questionnaire to conduct the visit and will complete the following sections.; a) Section 1: Provider Details; b) Section 2: Billing, Documentation, Vaccine Recipient Communication, and Reporting; c) Section 3: Storage and Handling Per Unit; d) Section 4: Storage and Handling Sitewide; e) Section 5: Vaccinations Procedures; The Contractor will conduct VFC Compliance/IQIP Visits for South Dakota enrolled clinics that are due; every twenty-four (24) months. The VFC site-visits will be documented in the CDC PEAR database at the time of the visit and all follow-up activities will be completed by the designated CDC and Contractor due date. The IQIP visits are documented in REDCap. The Contractor will use the CDC VFC Compliance Site Visit Reviewer Guide questionnaire to conduct the visit and will complete the following sections.; a) Section 1: Provider Details; b) Section 2: Eligibility; c) Section 3: Billing; d) Section 4: Documentation; e) Section 5: Storage and Handling Per Unit
