Specifications include, but are not limited to: All metal rectangular shelter. 26’x 36’ Hip-End metal roof with 4:12 pitch. Demension is overall roof size.; ROOF SYSTEM: A. Metal Roofing: 24-gauge galvalume factory finish with Kynar 500 paint system. Roof shall be Multi-Rib or Standing Seam and angles shall be factory cut. Ribs shall run with the pitch of the roof for proper Drainage. Color shall be selected from the manufacturer’s standard color chart: [Roman Blue]; B. Metal roofing trim shall match the color of the roof and shall be formed from 26 gauge painted galvalume steel as follows: PANEL AND ENDCAPS shall be pre-bent to a “U” shape to fit over ridge end of roof panels. The inside of the “U” shall match the roof color. METAL RIDGE CAPS shall be preformed with a single central bend to match the roof pitch. They shall be hemmed on the sides.; ROOF PEAK CAP shall be supplied on all buildings that do not have a cupola. “J” CHANNEL shall be shaped like a “J” with colored metal on the outside wrapped around 20 gauge galvanized steel core. “J” channel shall be applied all along the eave to strengthen and straighten the eave. Both colored metal and galvanized core shall have 7/16” weep holes 6” on center.; EVE SPLICE CHANNELS shall be provided to fit behind “J” channel butt joints to create strength at the joint and maintain a straight eave line. SPECIAL “J” CHANNEL CORNER TRIM shall be provided which fits over the Main “J” channel to simplify final detailing of corners.; FABRICATION: A. All base plates, stiffeners plates, U-clips, and end plates shall be factory welded into place and bolt connections holes shall be factory drilled.; B. Welded connections shall be made by certified welders in accordance with AWS Specifications and be supervised by an AWS certified welding inspector.; C. FACTORY FRAME FINISH shall be [Sandstone].; INSTALLATION: Venders shall bid structure installation as follows. Bidders shall supply all materials and labor for erecting the described structure above including the footings and concrete slab per the manufacturing specifications. Support pole footings are to be separate from the slab and shall have expansion joint installed between footings and slab.; Dimensions of the slab shall be 3’-0” wider than the outside roof measurements. Joints in slab shall be mechanically cut into 10’-6” squares and sealed with self leveling epoxy joint sealant. Site preparation, dirt work, and grading will be done by the Fremont Parks Dept.
