Specifications include, but are not limited to: In order to provide capacity for SNA, the selected contractor will design and implement a training that will: 1. Identity a manageable list of required readings for staff that address theory and conceptual principles of SNA; methods of data collection; and data analysis techniques using software including, but not limited to, R. 2. Develop a training plan that includes attention to the three (3) above components for approximately 10 staff members, preferably through a combination of in-person and remote training. 3. Coordinate with relevant Division staff to design training with regard to specialized aspects of subsistence economies and datasets; be prepared to sign a confidentiality agreement to use subsistence data for the purposes of this training only. 4. Work with relevant staff to schedule the training. 5. Help staff understand the potential of SNA to describe subsistence practices relative to our mission statement. 6. Engage the active participation of staff in training.
