Specifications include, but are not limited to: Sitework 1. Replace retaining wall. Inspect existing leaning wall to determine cause and replace +/- 100 SF length of the wall enclosing the patio with engineered walls and foundation to correct the problem. 2. Sidewalk and ramp replacement at site. Inspect sidewalks and ramps around the building and repair or replace all or portions of the existing conditions to bring them into compliance with TAS (ADA) requirements. 3. Site handrail repair and/or replacement. Inspect handrails around the building and repair or replace all or portions of the existing conditions to bring them into compliance with TAS (ADA) requirements. 4.Correct drainage at entrance – Re-slope grade under new concrete. Architecture 1. Demo designated windows, replace with new. Replace existing windows with energy code compliant windows fitted with the appropriate window hardware that ensures the security of the building. 2. Modifications to School for ADA compliance. Verify compliance throughout the entire building at ramps, door approaches, restrooms, and floor and head clearances. 3. Replace operable partition at Food Prep area. Remove existing partition and replace it with a code compliant operable partition that is capable of supporting the function of the spaces. 4. Provide architectural metal gates with panic hardware at garden area. – Alternate #4 Building Envelope / Roofing 1. Repair and clean masonry at elevations. Inspect brick masonry walls and where required: First repair any damaged mortar joints and repair or replace damaged brick units. Secondly power wash the walls on a low setting with a detergent solution as recommended by the manufacturer and subcontractor trained specifically to perform this work. 2. Repair soffit and fascia at elevations and paint. Repair or replace as required damaged, stained, or missing soffits and roof metal trim around the building. Coordinate with exterior light replacement. 3. Demo existing PUF roof, replace with mod. Bitumen. Replace existing mixed roof systems with the DISD modified bitumen approved roof. Roof replacement includes new mechanical equipment curbs, new parapet coping, and various roof penetration flashing as required. Structural 1. Provide roof support for new roof RTU and AHU openings. 2. Provide structural foundation for new marquee sign – Alternate #3 3. Provide foundation and structural retaining wall. Mechanical 1. ESSER HVAC IAQ FUNDING, Replace existing RTU's in like kind. 2. Add 2 new RTU's at south classrooms to allow for individual thermostatic control in each classroom to meet DISD TDG standards 3. ESSER HVAC IAQ FUNDING, Replace air handling units.
