Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Bangor requests bids for maintenance/rebuilding of portions of the Bangor International Airport’s existing deicing stormwater treatment system. Specifically, this project is associated with maintenance of Cells 1-3 of the Airport’s subsurface flow gravel wetland system located southeast of the traffic circle on Godfrey Blvd. in Bangor. This work includes the removal, disposal, and replacement of the entire cross section of Cells 1-3, including Subsurface Flow (SSF) Filter Soil media, SSF Wetland Gravel Media, underdrain pipes, isolator rows, aeration pipes, cleanouts, and geotextiles. The inlet structure, intermediate structure, and the outlet structures shall be left in place and re-used. Maintenance of stormwater flows, erosion control, restoration of disturbed areas, and other incidentals are all to be included in the lump sum price.
