Specifications include, but are not limited to: Core, cut and remove brick masonry and existing concrete masonry unit (CMU) to install three (3) new, aluminum-frame, functional windows, as specified in Appendix F. The new, functional windows shall match the existing faux windows as close as possible. It shall be understood that the City’s intent is for the new windows to blend and match the existing faux windows.; New windows shall be clear glass, double-pane and sealed. The dimensions of the windows shall be 36” wide by 56” tall.; Adjust/cut brick and CMU to maintain integrity of the wall.; Contractor shall protect the building from water damage arising from cutting the brick and CMU.; Seal windows as necessary.; EIFS (exterior insulation and finish system) installation, including side casing trim, to match existing faux window façade.; Install metal support systems for windows, as applicable.; Install 1” (one inch) wood trim around window interiors as required, and paint to match existing wall.; Touch-up painting, as necessary, to match existing building/façade. Painted brick sealed as necessary from touch-up painting.; Touch-up painting required to have minimum of two (2) sample areas for review. Paint color(s) to be approved by the City.
