Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide grounds maintenance services to include service for approximately 53 acres of lawn and flower beds around the University Campus; including UAPB property located at Martha Mitchell Expressway and University Drive. The objective of contracting the grounds maintenance services described in this RFP is to implement a performance-based grounds maintenance program which yields quality levels generally consistent with the APPA Level 1 standard of grounds maintenance service for the above mentioned property. Within this RFP, the University challenges proposers to carefully; study and research the unique aspects of campus life and submit unique proposals that demonstrate their ability to operate in a performance-based environment and to maintain quality levels of a Level 1 standard. Emphasis will be needed prior to specific weeks during the contract. The Director will notify the Contractor of said dates (Fall Move-in, Founders Week, Commencement, Homecoming, and Lion Fever Day).
