Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Minnesota Department of Education intends to proceed with the purchase of training materials for Child Development Associate Credential. The books published by the Council for Professional Recognition, the organization that issues the National Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, which are required for completing the components of the CDA. In conducting research the only other options for these specific titles for the training being offered are book through book sourcing sites. These sites direct you to other sites that offer the titles either used and/or in very limited quantities. New books options are almost double the cost directly from the publisher and still don’t offer the quantity needed.
