Specifications include, but are not limited to: one (1) 115kV GRD WYE/66.4kV MVA Transformer; The transformer shall be designed for utilization as a substation step-down power transformer. The transmission system (source) will be connected to the high voltage (115kV) and the distribution system (load) will be connected to the low voltage (12.47kV).; All parts, oil preservation systems, accessories, and materials for the transformer shall be capable to operate over an ambient temperature range of -40C to 50C. The transformer active-part shall be designed for the temperature rises as specified in Section 4.4 using the IEEE standard 24-hour maximum average of 30C and maximum of 40C; however, the minimum ambient used shall be -40C.
