Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Meet with City staff at critical stages throughout design 2. Perform field and topographic surveys as necessary 3. Determine the alignment for the water line improvements 4. Perform investigative soil borings 5. Coordinate with other City utilities and private utility owners 6. Prepare temporary easement, permanent easement, and/or right-of-way descriptions as necessary 7. Develop and submit conceptual drawings (30% complete) with an estimate of probable construction costs (EPCC) 8. Develop and submit field-check drawings (60% complete) and an updated EPCC 9. Develop and submit office-check drawings and project manual (90% complete) and an updated EPCC 10. Develop and submit final drawings, project manual, invitation to bid, bid form, and a final EPCC for the purpose of bidding the project. 11. Facilitate two (2) public meetings: the first public meeting is to be held after the office check plans have been prepared to allow for public input, and the second public meeting is to be held after the project has been awarded to inform the public about the details of construction including phasing, traffic control and estimated start and end dates. The purpose of both meetings is to inform the public. 12. Facilitate the pre-bid meeting.
