Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Coordinate with partners such as NRCS, VT Department of Forest, Parks and Recreation, VT Department of Environmental Conservation River Management, Wetland, and Watershed Planning Programs, VT Agency of Agriculture, UVM Extension System, Consulting foresters and others as suggested by the RCPP coordinator for project development opportunities. 2. Conduct inventories of opportunities for practice implementation, easement acquisition and restoration including alternative land uses and management. 3. Provide outreach to landowners to encourage participation in NRCS programs (EQIP, ACEP-ALE and ACEP-WRE), leading to implementation of agricultural, forestry and easement practices. This can be through direct one-on-one outreach, presentations at meetings, coordination with partners and from NRCS. 4. Evaluate nutrient management plans (NMP), forest management plans, and conservation plans to identify practice implementation needs or data gaps. 5. Provide technical assistance to producers to support practice implementation and transition to different practices. 6. Promote, sign up and verify land rental practices.
