Specifications include, but are not limited to: MnDOT is seeking a certified small business/contractor to coordinate and provide two hands-on trainings in erosion control installation at different locations around the state to certified small businesses. At the conclusion of the training, participants will be given the opportunity to take the Construction Installer Certification. The goal is that at least one of the trainings will be in greater Minnesota, outside of the Metropolitan area. The overall objective of the training is to increase the capacity and capabilities of certified small businesses to further their expertise, understanding, and technical skills required to pursue and be successfully awarded MnDOT contracts and subcontracts in the seeding and erosion control industry.; Task 1: Arrange and secure date, time, and location for the classroom training and hands-on training.; Task 2: Arrange for materials, equipment, and a certified installer to install or to direct installation of erosion or sediment control practices.; Task 3: Conduct and administer each of four separate trainings in erosion control installation.; Task 4: Provide a final report, course evaluations, and all necessary forms accurately completed upon program completion.; Task 5: Submit program invoice with back up documentation monthly to MnDOT.
