Specifications include, but are not limited to: esign and supervisionof public infrastructure projects, review of plans and specifications, preparation of permitapplications, and other tasks to be assigned. Examples of projects include sidewalk andstreet reconstruction and resurfacing; coastal adaptation projects; sewer system evaluationand repairs; landfill closure monitoring; drainage and infrastructure plans and studies;structural engineering analysis; development of conceptual plans and/or cost estimates forgrant applications; and preparation of State permit applications including RIDEM andCRMC permits, and physical alteration permits from RIDOT. In addition, the selected on-call engineering and design consultants will provide professional engineering services tosupporttheTownofBarringtonPlanningBoardinitsadministrationoftheTown’sLandDevelopment and Subdivision Regulations, including peer review of Planning Boardapplications and inspection of public improvements for compliance with approved plans.
