Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Vendor disconnects and removes all existing HVAC spilt systems and dispose of.; 2. Vendor removes all existing duct work and dispose of.; 3. Three (3) units are to be removed and two (2) new units provided and installed in a timely manner to eliminate downtime.; 4. A schedule must be provided to Fort bend County on how long this job will take to complete.; 5. Provide and install new hail guards to protect condenser coils.; 6. Provide and install new duct work with the proper supporting.; 7. All ductwork and plenums are to be sealed by awarded vendor.; 8. Provide and install new electrical disconnects and electrical whips on air handlers and condensers. Verify the correct breaker size is in place for the condensers and air handlers.; 9. Provide and install new programmable thermostat with lock box approved by Fort Bend County Facilities.; 10. Provide and install new low voltage wiring to thermostats, condensers and air handlers.; 11. Provide and install new main/secondary drain lines with new arm flex insulation.; 12. Provide and install new secondary drain pans.; 13. Provide and install float switches on secondary drain pans to eliminate drain overflows.; 14. Provide and install vibration pads on all units.; 15. Provide and install new copper line sets recommended by unit manufacturer with new arm flex insulation and line set covers.; 16. Provide and install new concrete condenser pads.; 17. All low and high voltage connection to be made by vendor.; 18. Vendor is responsible for obtaining any required permits; 19. All materials needed to complete this installation will be provided by the HVAC contractor.; 20. The worksite is to be cleaned and materials secured everyday.; 21. A Fort Bend County representative must be present during complete start up for the cooling/heating system.; 22. Vendor will conduct an air balance on all new equipment, make all required adjustments and provide a report to the Fort Bend County Facilities representative.; 23. All documents and warranty documents are to be turned over to Fort Bend County Facilities representative; 24. Vendor will be responsible for registering the warranty and providing a copy to Fort Bend County Facilities representative.; 25. All work is to take place during the hours of 8:00 AM through 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding County Holidays and County Closures.
