Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Battery Life and Productivity Identify if a solar option is available to reduce dependency on batteries for sustainability. The solar option would have to be powered by overhead lighting in the restrooms. Identify type and number of batteries required per dispenser. Batteries must be standard, off-the-shelf batteries (for example: “D” batteries) and avoid specialized oneof- a- kind batteries. Identify the number of paper towel dispenses and size expected through battery charge (for example: 100,000, etc./9” paper length) Noise level shall be less than 50 dBA Color should be black or stainless steel Ideally, dispenser should be made with Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) content. The LVCVA is replacing all the dispensers with the same model; therefore, the dispensers should be a newer product that will be available for replacement/restock for at least 5 years, if possible. B. Programming Ideally, should have a customized/preset towel length Ideally, it should have a customized/preset towel distance sensitivity Have a LED light indictor for low battery and/or low paper towel roll Ideal if dispenser can be programmed and updated remotely.
