Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Provide 24-hour monitoring of intrusion alarm system through Underwriter Laboratory (UL) listed central monitoring station.; b. Document and provide a list of the make, model, and serial number of intrusion alarm equipment to the CHP Facilities Coordinator.; c. Provide annual intrusion alarm system inspection/testing, including all devices. Test results to be sent to the CHP on-site contact at the California Highway Patrol, Attention: Sergeant Phil Han, 437 North Vermont, Los Angeles, CA 90004 and the CHP Facilities Coordinator at California Highway Patrol, P.O. Box 942898, Sacramento, CA 94298.; d. Contractor will be required to call the on-site area office facility contact or designee and make an appointment to perform inspection/testing at least three (3) days in advance. Contractor will check in with CHP on-site contact or designee upon arrival and check out when the work is completed.; e. Contractor shall not lock-out system with any special pass code. Must be left in default.; f. Contractor to use existing system equipment and reprogram existing intrusion alarm panels with monitoring information. No cellular radio communicator is accepted. Must use existing phone lines.; g. Replace system batteries annually with no cost to the State.; h. There are no monies in this contract for miscellaneous repairs. If, during routine maintenance, the need for repair of state-owned equipment is discovered, the Contractor may provide a detailed proposal; however, no repair or replacement can be charged to this contract. The CHP will seek proposals according to state contracting or purchasing codes at which time the Contractor may participate in the process; i. Subcontracting: The prime Contractor must provide a majority of the services under this contract. Material vendors are not included.
