Specifications include, but are not limited to: Project work includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for the Gaines and 32nd Street HMA and Drainage project, including but not limited to: Pavement Removal, HMA overlay, 7”- P.C.C. Driveway Removal and Replacement, A.D.A. Sidewalk Improvements, Subdrains and other related construction. It is recommended that Contractors become familiar with existing site conditions prior to bidding.); • Removal of all debris and waste material encountered during construction.; • Any excavated bricks shall be salvaged and taken to the Marquette Street Public Works Yard located on 232 South Marquette Street in Davenport.; • Any manhole castings shall be salvaged and turned over to the City of Davenport.; • Coordination of utility relocations and adjustments with appropriate utility company if needed.; • Potholing and excavation to locate and obtain depths of utilities in conflict. Potholing must be done at beginning of construction in each area along the riverfront prior to ordering of any structures and laying of sewer pipe. See plan drawings for potholing locations.; • Placement of Pre-Construction advance notice message boards.; • Connections to existing or proposed pipes or manholes shall be incidental to respective sanitary and storm piping/structure pay items. Connections shall conform to SUDAS Specifications.; • All bypass pumping of sanitary and storm sewer and any necessary dewatering of trench is incidental to respective sewer and structure pay items.; • All trench backfill, both granular and earthen, will be considered incidental to respective sewer and structure pay items.
