Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Update building to meet all current building codes.; 2. Replace ventilation system with centralized air handlers with dehumidification; 3. Add DDC controls for HVAC throughout.; 4. Replace lighting with LED fixtures where none exist.; 5. Replace main distribution panel and other original panel boards.; 6. Replace plumbing lines and fixtures, especially those containing lead solder.; 7. Install additional electrical outlets in classrooms.; 8. Install projection systems in all classrooms; 9. Install two-way talkback speakers in instructional areas.; 10. Install lighting controls.; 11. Replace clock and telephone systems.; 12. Install improved security system (additional cameras, columbine locks); 13. Replace fire alarm system.; 14. Replace roofing membranes.; 15. Review existing parking and drop-off/pickup lane for adequacy.; 16. Renew all paved and concrete surfaces as needed.; 17. Improve classroom storage.; 18. Replace single pane windows.; 19. Assess hollow metal doors and frames – replace as indicated.; 20. Replace flooring as needed.; 21. Add wall insulation throughout.; 22. Paint all surfaces.
