Specifications include, but are not limited to: Construction of roadway improvements to Sunset Road from Hualapai Way to CC215. Also, work includes the construction of fully operational Traffic Signal Systems at the following intersections: Cimarron Road and Warm Springs Road, Karen Avenue and Lamb Boulevard, Gilespie Street and Windmill Lane, and Russell Road and Torrey Pines Road. The work will generally consist of demolition, removal, and disposal of existing improvements and removal and salvage of designated items; cold planning; sidewalk ramp reconstruction for Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) current standards; miscellaneous roadway improvements including plantmix bituminous roadway surface, cold planing, UTACS, slurry seal, median, concrete sidewalk, curb and gutter, pavement markings and markers, and permanent signs; valve box and manhole adjustments; irrigation system modifications; installation of traffic signal system and appurtenances; traffic signal modifications; installation of ITS conduit and fiber optic cable; barrier rail; storm drain pipe, manholes, and drop inlets; water facilities; traffic control; dust control; miscellaneous improvements as shown on the drawings.
