Specifications include, but are not limited to: 4.1.1.1 Vendor must provide DirectTV or Equal uninterrupted, programming for an estimated 100 housing rooms for the duration of the contract. 4.1.1.2 Vendor shall provide monthly pricing of their basic programming package. 4.1.1.3 Vendor must provide high definition (HD) picture quality. 4.1.1.4 Vendor must provide all Local channels. Local channels include but not limited to the following: ABC, NBC, and CBS. 4.1.1.5 Vendor shall provide one dedicated institutional use channel solely dedicated for publishing information to the inmate population. 4.1.1.6 Vendor must meet any emergency outages needs within Four (4) hours of notification and must resolve any outages within twenty-four (24) hours. 4.1.1.7 Vendor must provide 24/7 help desk solution and escalation procedures in the event of an outage. 4.1.1.8 Vendor is responsible for any internet connection and service that may be required to operate this system. Vendor will not be permitted to use the State Internet service. 4.1.1.9 Vendor must provide programming service that is compatible with the facility’s existing equipment: Blonder Tongue, Clearview 4:2. 4.1.1.9.1 Vendor providing programming service that is not compatible with the existing satellite receiver, Blonder Tongue Clearview 4:2 (Make: V1210, Model: D24H-G9), will need to replace it at no additional cost to the facility. 4.1.1.10 Vendor must provide continued maintenance on existing satellite equipment. 4.1.1.10.1 The vendor is responsible to ensure the existing cabling, and connectors are in good working condition. 4.1.1.10.2 Vendor must agree to replace any equipment that becomes obsolete or inoperable at no additional cost for a Two (2) year period beginning when the contract is awarded. Pricing for next generation equipment can be updated at the time of contract renewal. 4.1.1.10.3 Replacement equipment must be compatible for HD or replace it with HD compatible equipment as needed.
