The contractor shall install an Intrusion Detection System (IDS) into the Armory in Building 1455. An IDS provides an electronic means of accomplishing area intrusion detection, alarm reporting and display, remote alarm assessment, and to alert Security Forces to intrusions. The armory requires compatible software from LINX Defense Systems to ensure compatibility with the Base Defense Operations Center (BDOC). Electrical work will be required to support the system. The contractor is required to install, wire, mount, and terminate system components as necessary to achieve operation of the system. The contractors shall install (1) LINX Predator Elite Panels in NEMA 4 indoor enclosure for monitoring of (1) Door, (1) Window, (2) Duress and (3) PIRs on (1) Building. Perform Programming on the existing B-Area LINX Predator Elite System for (1) new VIP/VIP-E panels and adding alarms and graphics for the panel.
