Work for this project requires the contractor to be responsible for supplying all labor,
materials, equipment, utilities, miscellaneous items, freight and delivery and all
necessary valid licenses for the work summarized as follows:
1. Trapper Creek JC will move furniture, as needed, so contractor can complete work.
2. Vendor will tear up and dispose of existing flooring.
3. The vendor will provide and install approximately 4114 square feet of commercial
style direct glue nylon carpet tiles in dorm rooms, common rooms and offices
indicated on the floorplan. All adhesives/sealers and rubber transitions/ moldings
will be provided by the vendor. This does not include carpet installation in cubbies
at ends of beds or carpeting on wall areas, as material is not worn in these places
4. Vendor is responsible for verifying measurements prior to submitting a proposal.
5. Carpet tiles shall be 24”x24”, nylon, 0.25” thickness, 15 oz/SY, low VOC, meeting
Green Label Plus Standards. Basis of Design: Shaw Contract Carpet tile,
Constellation style, or approved equal. Provide color options when submitting
product data.
6. Adhesives shall have less than 50 g/L VOC content limit (calculated according to
40 CFR 59 Subpart D – EPA Method 24). Prepare substrate per manufacturer
requirements and use only adhesives approved by the manufacturer.
7. Submit warranty information when submitting product data.
